Unbound Waco is activating our community to fight human trafficking through:
We believe awareness saves lives. Knowing that traffickers target the vulnerable in our community, we want to get on the front of human trafficking, equipping our community to prevent it from happening.
To do so, Unbound educates and empowers youth, spreads awareness through citywide outreaches and provides human trafficking presentations to groups and organizations within our community.

Unbound provides professional training to medical professionals, school personnel, social service providers and more to empower all professionals to use their skills to identify and serve victims of human trafficking.
Many victims of human trafficking don’t recognize that they are victims and therefore don’t reach out for help on their own. By training professionals who may be in a position to interact with victims, we can activate more intervention and trauma-informed services for survivors. *Continuing education credits available for some groups.
Unbound advocates for victims and survivors by meeting immediate needs, supporting survivors and their families and connecting each survivor with resources for his or her unique restoration journey.
Unbound Waco serves the Heart of Texas Region with crisis response and case management services for victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Along with community partners, Unbound Waco leads the Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition. The Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative effort to combat human trafficking in the Heart of Texas region. We do this by 1) increasing community awareness for the prevention and identification of human trafficking victims, 2) increasing investigation and prosecution of human trafficking cases at a local, state and federal level, and 3) providing coordinated, comprehensive, trauma-informed services to the individualized needs of human trafficking victims.
